Hi 👋 my name's Sara Latour I am the founder of MANIKURE,

As a young woman working in the city of Toronto for the past 4 years, I am no stranger trying to balance work-life, looking my best and having fun through self expression. As someone who was always commuting, going to events, meeting up with friends or squeezing in a workout, I never seemed to find the time to do my nails. If I did get around to going to the salon, I had to book appointments in advance and carve out a few hours to do so. Not to mention the costs (both on my nails and on my wallet!). When I eventually did carve out time to do my own nails, I was not that greatest at it. I've ruined my nails countless times, either my not being able to sit still, or rushing to get something else done (OK sometimes it was trying to grab another scoop of Hagen Daaz - but still).

Even after I "succeeded" at doing my own manicure, they never lasted too long. I started MANIKURE to provide products that offered simple solutions to allow anyone to have the nail art they want, whenever they want.
